Poor Japan, such horrid news and we all feel your pain at the moment. We have had a tiny surge at the beaches here so far, so no swimming for any kiwis today. We cannot even begin to imagine how scary this is for your people, and our thoughts are with you.

ReplyDeleteI know ... isn't this terrible.
ReplyDeleteI live in Washington state and they did the 'warning' along our coastlines. First time in forever ... luckily, it's hasn't been too bad.

We are amazed at those photos! We heard about our warning but nothing really came of it--Oregon had an alert which I guess means they would have had higher waves. We are lucky that there was nothing worse.
ReplyDeleteHorrible, just horrible. We have been praying throughout the day.
ReplyDeleteBetween Christ Church and now Japan, it is all rather incomprehensible.

ReplyDeleteGreetings,
ReplyDeleteI have been glued to the television all day watching the news from Japan with another eye on the California coast since I live in San Francisco and my daughter is in Santa Cruz.
I feel it will not be until Sunday that we will really see the extent of damage and my concern right now is for the nuclear facility and hoping it does not become another Chernobyl.
Warmest regards,
Miss Kitty and Egmont
