Sorry we missed our post yesterday - mum had to work all night. She got called into work, and there was a police cordon, as there was a bomb scare. The policemen had to stand out in the rain, and they did eventually let mum sneak into work to help out her patients. Mum then helped her doctor sneak out the back door, and they never heard any more details!
The papers and the tv news are warning us that a blizzard is on its way up from Antartica Sunday evening. So mum has been to the supermarket and stocked up, and got all the quilts on the bed. We'll keep you filled in with what happens!!
I'm glad you are prepared for any coming blizzards, Poppy! Let us know what happens!ReplyDelete
Goodness you have some craziness going on in your neck of the woods, Poppy. You and your mom take care.ReplyDelete
That's way too much "excitement," Poppy. That bomb scare would be just that...scary! We're glad all is okay.ReplyDelete
We're cross our paws that the blizzard tracks away from you. Stay warm and safe!
It sounds like a perfect weekend for staying cozy at home!ReplyDelete
My goodness! Bombs and Blizzards! I hope things quiet down for you and that the blizzard is not too much. Snow is tough to have in places that don't have the right kind of road clearing equipment. Mom was hearing stories from peope who live in Atlanta, Georgia, where it seldom snows - when they had snow this past winter, everything froze over and it was really bad. Good luck to you!ReplyDelete
Bomb scare! Oh my, what does your momma do for a job that involves BOMB SCARES! And a blizzard?! Stay safe and keep us updated!ReplyDelete
OMC!! How scary for your Mum, and then to not find out any details...disturbing.ReplyDelete
You two put all the bars on your fire and stay warm tonight!
Oh stay safe and warm Poppy Q!ReplyDelete
Good fur your mom fur getting prepared! We hopes you are ok and don't lose your electric or internets! Good luck! xoxoReplyDelete
Keep snuggly and warm during the blizzard Poppy and mum.ReplyDelete
Keep snug and warm Poppy, and no wandering the streets in such intense weather, we would worry about you.ReplyDelete
Be very safe in that blizzard, Poppy! As long as there are lots of your foods and treats, enjoy being buried in with your mum!ReplyDelete
Bomb scares are really really scary! We hope you can stay warm and Mom does not have to go out in the blizzard!ReplyDelete
