Monday, and we are quiet around our house, as mum is still recovering. Her cough is a real bark, which scares me and she has laryngitis as well. So she has stretched out on the couch and watched lots of things on the DVR. The flu is doing the rounds of Wellington at the moment, and mum says that it is the nastiest one that she has had, she certainly doesn't want to pass it on to anyone else.
Oh no, your poor mummy! Please can you give her big snuggles from me.

Hi pretty lady. We hope your mum is on the mend super soon.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, we love love love your mum's design aesthetic. She is welcome to come and re-design our house any time :)
Poppy, I am sorry your Mum is still sick. My humans had a germ that sounded similar last April here in the US, and your Mum's sounds similar. It took some antibiotics for Mom, and some steroids for Dad for them to get better. Maybe your Mum needs something more to shake it. Especially if she is coughing till she feels like vomiting - that sounds like bronchitis. Purrrrs.
ReplyDeleteWe hope she feels better soon but enjoy your time together!
ReplyDeleteFlu is very nasty! We hope Mom feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteThat bug needs to go away! Poppy, we're sending purrs for your Mum to get a good night's rest.
ReplyDeleteIf your human does not feel better soon, you may have to stuff her in the PTU and take her to the human vet!
ReplyDeleteBarking like cough? Poppy, your mum sounds like she could have whooping cough. Is she on antibiotics? We know you'll take good care of her. Remember, lots of fluids and rest and kitty kisses.
ReplyDeleteI like what Sparkle said! Poor mummy, she needs your help more than ever.
ReplyDeletePoor mum! We are still purring fur her to get well soon. Keep giving her lots of lufs, nurse Poppy. xoxo
