Today was Flu Friday at our house. I kept mum tucked up in the bed all day with her tissues. I've moved her to the couch, so that she can have more rest and is closer to my fancy feast. She is glad that her nose has stopped leaking, and is just waiting for her chest to clear. Luckily she now has a easy weekend planned.
Poor Mum! Good thing Nurse Poppy is on the job. We'll send your Mum sum healing purrs and pawsitive thoughts. Tell her to feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteYou are so thoughtful, Miss Pops! moving her closer to your foods so she wouldn't need to spend too much extra energy... You're always thinking!
ReplyDeleteFeel better, Julie!
Poppy, make sure your human gets enough rest! Humans have a bad habit of trying to do stuff when they are not well yet. So if she has an "easy weekend" planned, hold her to it!

ReplyDeleteIt's good that the weekend is here, and your mum won't have to miss too much work - but what a way to ruin a weekend, eh? Keep her warm, Poppy, and inside.

What a wonderful caregiver you are, sweet Poppy. Remind your mum to drink fluids until she just can't drink anymore. It really helps.
