Seasonal

This morning, it was sunshine out on the deck.
By this afternoon, we needed the heater on, and mum had to pull the jumper out and put it on to keep warm.

It is a public holiday here in NZ - our Labour Day or as it is usually known, big garden clean out holiday or take your caravan to the beach holiday.  Our day was spent relaxing and having a big sleep in.

  3. During the winters Here in the sub-tropical south so often I find myself switch the control from heat to air conditioning in the same day. It's bizarre! But it's true! And I thank God all the time for the person who invented central heat and air!

Have a perfectly lovely day, ladies!

PS. I'm nearly to the end of Gone Girl, and still I'm hoping to be surprised.

  4. Our weather is very much like that at the moment, even though we're supposed to be heading towards winter.

    Have a great day Poppy!

  5. Hi Pops. We had a very changey day here, too. I even got rained on when I was sitting on the deck! We hope you are rejuvenated from your holiday day.

  9. Belated happy Labour Day from all of us. Our Labour Day is in September and it's typically the last long weekend at the cottage, for those who have cottages. :-)

A sleep in sounds heavenly to me. I can only dream. LOL.

  11. Labour Day is the best! A celebration of eight hours for work, eight hours for relaxation and eight hours for sleep. But , of course, we cats know the time allocations need to be tweaked a bit.
