Home


 As mum left work there was a foggy autumnal mist descending over the city, and it has turned to rain this evening.  Soon she will have to take a jacket and umbrella with her, and swap out her lightweight shoes for boots. The heater has been turned on to take the chill out of the air before bed.

Mum cooked a corned beef with vegetables for her dinner, something she doesn't make very often but it reminds her of  her childhood.   She offered me some beef, but i didn't want any.  I got some temptations though, so I'm happy.

    We have had some lovely warm sunny days. But yes. The “heat” has definitely gone.
    The mornings and evenings are cooler.
    You can feel winter is on her way
