Mum found 8 large bags of chicken temptations at the supermarket last night. She only bought one. Sneakily there was no price tag where they were, but mum wasn't going to leave without them. At 11.30pm there weren't any workers round to ask, but they were $14 NZ when she paid for them. Enough to last for quite some time.

ReplyDeleteI can understand why your mum bought only one at that price. That's a terribly high cost. At a strict exchange-rate conversion, that would be $11.20 Canadian, and I usually buy a package half that size for $3. Yikes! Costs are becoming intolerable. Anyway, Poppy, I am glad you are stocked up for a while. Your mum is always thinking of you.

I got the last carton of Friskies pate poultry on the shelf at WalMart today - luckily there was no one else even in the aisle !
