Summer Clicking


Mum was lying on her bed reading last night, when she heard a loud clicking.  A large cicada was making itself comfortable on her headboard.   She managed to coax it out and put it out the window.  Thank goodness, as there would have been a restless night for her.  Me - I was snoozing in the spare room.

    We have them living in our lawn out back. Trixie is funny. She can hear them and pounces on them They stop singing until she walks away and they start up again
    Hours of fun for me lol

    Your equivalent of our crickets, eh? Though, come to think of it, I haven't heard crickets here for a long time.
