After a warm summery weekend, the forecast rain arrived on Monday morning. Mum woke around 1pm and it was just 12 deg C outside. The builders had set up camp next door noisily replacing apartment windows, so mums sleep was over. From our bedroom window it looked nice outside and she thought about a walk, but pulled back the curtains to see it was just a break in the clouds and the next lot of rain began.
So mum retreated to the couch, and spent the afternoon watching the Oscars. Maybe a walk tomorrow.

I'm sure 12C must feel very chilly to you both, Poppy. It certainly would without central heat. I hope your rain is over and done with and you're back to sunshine, and that the builders finish quickly.
