Late

Mum you got home late again.  I'm busy waiting for my feast.  Mum has had 3 late shifts, and now has an early one at 7am.  Then 2 days off- yippee!

Mum got home late after work tonight.  She worked and then caught up with some friends.  Then she caught up with me.  There was some snuggling and patting and now some sleeping. 

Let the weekend begin.

Mum got home late from work tonight.   She had a good day and there were drinks and bubbles at a colleagues house afterwards which was lovely.  So my dinner and treats were pretty close together tonight which I didn't mind too much.

It is a bit cooler tonight which will be better for middle aged mumsters sleep.  She has been sleeping with a window open.  No one can sneak in so mum feels safe.  She is going to look for a fan next week as it is going to be a long hot summer.

I have been sleeping on the couch to keep cool and mum tends to toss and turn in the heat disturbing my sleeps.  We do love summer - mum has been wearing sandals every day and has even unpacked her shorts.

Mum has been on the late shifts again this week, which is good as us girls have had a chance to have a lie in and a cuddle in the  morning.  It was a bit chilly here overnight, so mum put an extra quilt on the bed, and I made sure to climb on top of her and keep her warm.

She had an easy sandwich for her lunch and some fruit.  It is stone fruit season here in NZ, we have lots of apricots, nectarines and plums.  All sweet and tasty and they never last for long.  Mum has made a thai chicken curry and rice for her dinner, which makes it easy for her at work.

I don't get my fancy feast til mum gets home - so real late, but I have lots of crunchies to snack on.

Mums 7 day stretch of work is over - time for days off.  I helped her in the garden after work.  Now it is late, and she has to quickly post before Monday starts.  She is allowed a late night tonight, but only til midnight then off to bed.

The mumster got in at late o'clock again tonight, so I had to gobble down my feast at 10:45pm.  Hope I don't get gas - cos I'm sharing your bed!!!  Hahahaha

Hope you all got your dinner on time and are relaxing now.

Mum had to work to early o'clock this morning, so I did not get my dinner til she gotted home at 11:30am.  Times are tough at chez Q,  I might have to even go on the street and beg for my supper.

PS don't worry about me being on the street.  I stay away from the moving cars and anybuddy that would steal me.
