We are being quiet too - we have no words.

When we awoke this morning we heard the saddest of news. Wee Violette had died yesterday, her heart had stopped at the hospital.

Monty Q cat and Millies families hearts are broken, and we are sending them hugs from across the ocean.

I'm going to bed early tonight, as I have to purr for my friend Monty Q cat and his family. Littlest bean Sprout has taken a tumble, and is in hospital. Big purrs to you and all your beans. Get better soon.

Dear Santa

Dear Santa,

In case you didn't know what dem great toys were in the last post. Dems feather mousies. I love dem all and don't mind what colour you get the elves to make for me. Dis is what their front ends looks like. Their bottoms looks like feathers.

I only needs one for me to play wif. Could you send the rest to all my kitty friends and to all the kittycats in shelters waiting for homes. Could you send nice beans, to the shelters to give the homeless kitty cats good homes. Ones with lots of loves, and warm legs to lie on at night and cuddles in the morning and lots of stinky goodness.

Monty Q -I is nice and warm at night. I sleep like dis, between my mums ankles/knees. The weather is getting really nice during the day, but still a bit cool at night. I am glad Monty Q, dat you have a bean to snuggle up next to and keep warm. I hope you has stopped stalking your mombean, and trying to catch her in the nudie rudie.

My mum is pinned to the bed and can't move all night cause I is there. She tinks she is getting arthritis in her hip from having to sleep in one position all night - poor bean!!!

Watch out or I will send my brother to get you!!

No sign of How Rude (the neighbours intruder cat). You better watch it buddy or my brother Monty Q will come over and chew your nose off!! He has his bags packed already!

My mum was late coming to bed cause she stayed up to watch the All Blacks play Italy in the Rugby World Cup. It is being played in France, and mum wanted to watch this game. The All Blacks won, so all of New Zealand is quiet this morning as everyone is sleeping in and they are all happy (til the next match).

100th post competition - final days!!

Wow you guys are good at entering my competition. So far I have over seventy kittycat names in the draw.

In case you didn't know I am having a 100th post competition. You can enter anytime before the 100th post.

• How do I enter? Just leave your name in my chatbox or comments letting me know who you are!! That's it. You don't have to guess what day or time it will be, or pay me with ham to enter. Just your name - You have to be a cat blogger though!!
• How many times can I enter? Just the once. However if you have two or more cats in your household, each cat can enter. So Kimo and Sabi have two entries.
• What do I win? Why you will win a collection of kitty goodies that will be sent to you through the magic of the postal service. Your bean may also get a wee treat.
• This rule is for My friend MONTY Q - You can only enter the competition once my lovely brother (from another mother).

I think you are the only cat in your house and although you may sound like a herd of marauding elephants ,as you chase your beans around, I think you are the only cat there. So I think that there are not three hundred and one other cats at your address - but we can fix that. I have rung the local SPCA and for a sizable donation, and an inspection of your premises (at your cost), they will be happy to send an inspector to America and provide you with an instant family of three hundred and one brothers and sisters. I hope your beans have a super king sized bed, a large pantry and take great pleasure in emptying kitty litter. Please advise if we should proceed with immediate adoption plans!!

I hope you are all having a great week. It is much cooler here today but our days are getting longer, so we know that spring will be back again soon. I know a lot of you will be pleased to have the return of cooler weather. You can have it back, we have had enough of the cold.

Millie's mum has updated, and said she is doing well and will be able to get home soon. We thinking of you, Monty Q family. You know my mum works in a hospital and she says nice people who can help you work there - but there is no better place to be, then at home. Get well soon babybean.

My Friday Friend this week it Monty Q.

You may think that Monty Q and I may be related due to the same last name. I have looked in my family tree and can't find the tabby line. He does want to be my brother though. We like that idea - everyone needs a brother to look out for them. Look at Angie and Beau, Eric and Flynn - they are good brothers.

Monty Q is a very handsome tabby cat that lives in the US. He came from an animal shelter and chose his family wisely cause they love him lots. He has important jobs of snoopervising around the house and guarding the kidbeans in his family.

Monty Q is in love with Mille - we can see why. She is cute.
