Sunnyday

Today was a lovely day - the sun was shining and not a cloud in the sky.  Mum got washing done super early and took herself out.  She needed to stick up on her favourite candles and did a lot of window shopping.  Mum got some avocados and made guacamole for her dinner and blueberries for snacks.

Mum came home to keep me company.  I like that the best.

Sunnyday

Well everbuddy in the city behaved themselves overnight on St Patrick's Day as mum only had to go to work once and got a good night's sleep.  She even got up early and washed the towels and sheets, and did the dishes.
She then went for a walk to the market and then to the cinema where Casablanca was showing.  It is one of those movies that she has seen parts of,  but had never seen the whole thing.

After that she took another walk and then came home to relax.  More Queer Eye - which she watches in Netflix.  Such a nice show about men helping men and with tears and smiles at the end.  A nice remake full of joy, honestly I haven't enjoyed a show like this in a long time.

So last night on call tonight.  Wish mum luck!!  I need my sleep too and will be ready for her to sleep well the rest of the week.

Sunnyday

Our Day didn't start out sunny, there was a bit of a drizzle happening.  Luckily mum was up and dressed early as the landlord arrived to do some jobs upstairs and helped mum out with a quick garden tidy up.  He also bought mum these lovely gerbras which are her favorite.   We think it was kind of him to do that.

Mum did a whole lot of washing, a big pile of dishes and unpacked a few more things.  It was relaxing to stay home.  She kept the door open for me but I wasn't too curious  today.

She took a few photos too, so we have lots to show you during the week.   Hope you have all had a nice Sunday too.

Sunnyday

This morning started off a bit cool and windy.  The mumster whizzed around with the vacuum cleaner and did a load of dishes.  The visitors came around and took mum out for a tasty lunch. The cafe is probably the most popular in town, and customers were waiting down the stairs and out onto the street.  A quick trip around the shops and mum came home with a couple of candles.  She went and got some groceries and then came home in time to sit in the sun and read her book.  Making the most of a  perfect summer afternoon.

Salmon with potatoes and broccoli for dinner with a bit of rock melon for supper for her.  Just biscuits for me so far, no feast today.  The garden had a quick tidy, and the sprinklers were turned on for a bit a watering.  Now time for relaxing before a busy old week.

Enjoy your Sunday everybuddy.

Sunnyday

Today was another sunny day, alas mum did not take to the water today.  Today we had a home day which made us happy.  A sleep in was enjoyed and then mum toasted some hot cross buns for her breakfast.  Our supermarket started selling them on January first - crazy!!

A bit of gardening, a bit of housework and some reading kept mums day busy and I followed her round like a bad smell.  She used up some of the veg she bought at the market for her dinner, roasted kumara (sweet potato) with baked salmon, a couscous with veg, and broccoli and beans.  Take that 5 plus veg a day.

This evening, well we are taking it easy, sharing the couch and a couple of tv dramas.  Hope you get to take it easy too.

Sunnyday

Today we had a touch of sun, but it was windy and the clouds blew in later in the afternoon.
Mum got the washing done though, and some grocery shopping.  Living the wild life.
This is yesterdays lunch in the sun, first time it has been nice enough to eat outside in months.  This is mums roti bread with lamb curry + salad inside, a tropical fruit and wheatgrass drink and the latest ezibuy catalogue to browse through.  Mum said it was most enjoyable.
