I keep looking out our window. I'm waiting for the sunshines to come back.
We had a touch of it this morning, I won't lie - it was nice. I went out and rolled around on the deck
Mum went out with one of her besties to watch a movie. Then they tried to get some dinner, but all the restaurants were closed which mum was surprised by, as there were lots of people around.
So she came home and had tomato soup and toast, and I had the fancy feast. Mums feeling a bit hungover from all the carbs, so we had to have a 6.45pm nap after dinner.

Lynettea says it is crazy not to have any restaurants open. She says you need to come here to eat. Anyway your snack sounds nice and we have a big heat wave, so you wouldn't like that.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year

I thought you were supposed to get more sun at this time of year than us northern hemisphere kitties, Poppy - it just does not seem fair to you to have all this rain!
ReplyDeleteAll the sun is over here in Western Australia, we will send you some :)
ReplyDeleteThe suns will come out again, Poppy. I keep telling myself that about here.
ReplyDeleteWe hope your sunshine comes back! We are actually hoping for more snow here!! Mom is a snow nut!! - Sage and Fizz
ReplyDeleteAt least you got to roll around in the little sunshine you had!
ReplyDeleteShut restaurants... at New Year... in the Capital City... sigh! (These people need a smack!)
ReplyDeleteWe have a little sun, but a lot of wind here (Palmerston NOrth)... the best place for a cat is on the bed... under the covers (if you're my Yoshi)
Oh it does look like a good day for staying inside!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Poppy! You look cozy there!
ReplyDeleteA 6:45 nap sounds super! Actually, any time is great.
