Sunday - Are you Snoozing?

It's Sunday and unseasonably cool here.  A little southerly has blown up to us from Antartica, so I'm snuggling up on mums quilt keeping warm.  Mum has dug out her woolly slippers and a jumper and is determined to keep the heater off, she also made Chicken noodle soup for dinner.  It has been reported on the news here that it is snowing in some spots in the South Island - don't forget it is mid summer here.

Still  we know we are luckier than our Northern Hemisphere  friends who are buried in snow, with temperatures much cooler than us.  We think it is a kiwi trait to whinge about the weather, we all do it.

So are you snoozing today?

  1. I think everyone complains about the weather... except for us here in southern California, where it would be really dumb to complain! But it does seem like you have had an exceptionally mild summer, so why not hang out and get cozy?

  9. We all complain about the weather! Not to worry, it will improve and so far our winter is not too bad. We have been snoozing and snuggling too.

  10. It's supposed to get worse here (freezing rain earlier today, now it's raining, and getting colder and may snow by morning) tonight. We shouldn't complain this winter, since it's been the mildest we've had in recent years...
