Simply Saturday

Today it was a simple Saturday.  Mum had a course to go to from 10:30-3.30, she was a bit frustrated as much of it was boring, and she did not learn a lot.  Which she says is a bit of a pain when she has given up her Saturday.  So after an hour or two relaxing, she is off to meet friends for dinner.

These are the lovely camelias that are blooming all down the side of our house.  We can't complain much about winter, when we have such pretty flowers.  Tomorrow a sunny day is forecast, and after a wee lie in mum has plans to go out and have a big walk and get some jobs done.  Me - I plan on relaxing.

  1. Those flowers are just gorgeous! We wouldn't mind winter so much, either, if we had blooms. Though we'll pass on earthquakes, thanks. :-/

We hope your mum's Sunday is terrific and makes up for having to spend Saturday at that course!

  5. That is a shame that your mum had to go on a course on a Saturday. The camelias look very pretty.

  6. Oh how awful! Boring AND held in the middle of the day. Not morning or afternoon, mind you, but right In the middle so the nasty thing eats up the whole day!
Hope your mum has a fun night out, but it sounds like the weekend plans don't have a lot of "Poppy time" in them. You'll have to put your bean right on that one. Kisses to you, sweet girl
