July

In July, here in New Zealand where it is mid winter it is all about the sleeping.  I am just about permanently planted somewhere in the house, mum says it is hard to get pictures of me with my eyes open.  Mum is staying pretty close to home too, as it is perfect weather for a book or browsing blogs.  She is also enjoying her winter clothes, wrapping up in scarves and lots of layers.  Lots of soups and slow cooked meals too, with lots of winter veg, carrots, leeks, broccoli and sweet apples - yumm.  Me - I'll stick to the fancy feast thanks.

    We think it's so funny that you are curled up in front of the fire, and it's 114 in our back yard! Blogging has certainly made our world bigger.

    Ah I love a good fireplace. At least it's supposed to be cool there. Maybe we have floated down south of the equator because we're still waiting for summer here!

    Miss Poppy , I'm the same and my mom has the same problems as your mom. She have too many nap and eat photos of me since start winter !!! Not much I do really : ) Anyhow, now I feel like I wanna do more...zzzZZZ
