Our Friend Elvis

These slightly blurry photos are of one of our friends Elvis.  Miss Elvis had to take her last visit to the vet today with her family.  She got to live a good long life with mum and dads friends, and her sister Doodlebug.  Mum lived with them for a couple of years.  Elvis and Doodlebug loved to sleep on the bed pinning mum down, and then trying to jump up and down on her in the morning, to wake her up.

Then mums friends moved to their seaside home, to have their own children, and Elvis and Doodlebug had a great time, as their new home has wonderful gardens to explore.  Elvis and Doodle have got to live out their pensioner years in style, lying in the sun and chasing lizards.  Elvis though had been feeling rough and getting frail, and after a really miserable couple of days, it was her time to go to the bridge.

So Miss Elvis will be buried in the garden that she loved to explore, close to her family.  Rest in Peace sweet girl.
