Sunday

The sun shone for about an hour this afternoon, after lots and lots of rain.  I helped mum in the garden, she picked up lots of big leaves that had fallen in the storm.  She also put some bread and fresh fruit out for the sparrows and other birds, as they were hungry.

Mum and I have enjoyed our indoors camping weekend.  She has read lots of magazines, a bit of her book, caught up on some DVR programmes and cooked a big cheesy pasta dish that will last days.  She also snuck off to the supermarket and stocked up on toilet paper - crisis averted.

  2. My human perked up when she saw the words "cheesy pasta dish!" Actually I think it sounds pretty interesting too.

Sounds like we had similar weather. Ack.

  9. Thank goodness for the "crisis averted." And, if there's extra TP around, it makes very good shredding material... although you probably already knew that.

  11. Poppy, your weekend sounds delightful! Why humans don't clean their bottoms properly like we do is one of Life's Big Mysteries.

  12. Crisis indeed if no toilet paper. Mum needs a day or two to "camp" and read magazines.
