Hobbit Hello

Tonight is a big night in our city.  The Hobbit is having it's world wide premiere, and lots of hobbits and dwarves are walking the red carpet.  Mum had to work late, so she wasn't going to go and hang around at the back of the crowd, also she is short so she would never see over all those heads.  Mum says I already have furry feet and big pointy ears, I would make a good Hobbit.

So she has stayed home and made green beans, potatoes and salmon for dinner - and no I was not interested in the salmon.  I don't eat many people foods.

We are still tying to figure out the picture situation,  so we hope you don't remind us recycling lots of old photos.

  1. Poppy, your human can always send any extra salmon over here to Los Angeles! I will happily sign for it.

  2. I am so happy that your blog is back, Poppy!

  3. The Mom is all excited about the Hobbit.

  4. No fair! The Hobbit is my all-time favorite book and it won't be out here for a few weeks. grrrr...

I could never get tired of your lovely face, Miss Pops.

Start a new blog. You'll get a whole new amount of storage allocation and everyone will surely follow you to your new digs. You can link to your new blog on this blog.

Have a lovely day, lovely ladies!

  5. I am a Tolkien fan from way back, back before there were movies about his stories! But I heard that there will be three movie based on The Hobbit. I'm not sure how they will squeeze that many out. In any case, I'll be seeing them some time. Jackson did an excellent job on The Lord of the Rings: a credit to New Zealand.

And I'm glad that you're back on-line, Poppy Q, with your blog intact.

  6. We watched the red carpet on telly. It was very low key and relaxed event, looking forward to seeing the movie. I'm interested to read how you get things sorted re blog photos. have you tried using a different server eg goggle crome?
    Love Leanne

  7. Any picture of you is a good picture, Poppy Dear!

  8. You don't like salmon? Or she doesn't make it cat-style?

We recycle a lot of photos. Recycling is good for the environment, or so we've been told. So we recycle. :)

  9. Mom is all excited to see the Hobbit. WE are not sure why!

  10. The lady saw a new clip about "The Hobbit." Showed lots of people in line, all very excited.

They said it was in 3-D and shot at a very fast forty-something frames per second.

    Oh, that dinner sounds delicious.

  11. Are you allowed to start a new Poppy Blog?... PoppyQ2... just a thought. Oh, and while I was writing this I saw Barb and the DailyG's comment... she's a clever girl!! :-)

  12. Good that you have your blog back and we do not mind recycled pics of beautiful you!!!
Mom is very excited about the Hobbit movie!! Opens Dec 14 in Canada :)
