I have been sticking close to home in our new house which makes mum happy although she does want me to be more confident with going outside, more because she doesn't want to have a litter box inside forever. She would like me happy too, but knows that it will take some time.
Mum has her first night on call from our new house tonight so hopefully that goes smoothly.
She did go to the town supermarket after work, as it is only $2 to catch a bus home and a 10 minutes ride to get dropped off a 5 minutes stroll from home. It was super sunny when mum got home too until 7.30pm which was nice as we used to lose the sun at 3pm at our old place.

No need to rush things Poppy!x
ReplyDeleteMum will let you do what your happiest at
doing! I expect your still exploring your
new home! The garden is there when you need
it...! Have fun!
Something outside must be a little unsettling. Could it be the upstairs folks coming and going? We cats have excellent instincts. You'll know when the time is right. Do try to enjoy your lovely sunshine.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have the extra light through the afternoon and early evening!
ReplyDeleteYou take things as slow as you need to, Poppy, and most of all, be safe! Purrs.
It seems like things are working out in the new home, Poppy. It will still take a while to adjust but so far, so good, eh?
ReplyDeleteYou will gain the confidence soon and enjoy the outside.

ReplyDeleteWe're glad you are sticking close to home Poppy, especially with the Cheeky Cat hanging out. When you are furriends we're sure you'll be more likely to be outside.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the sunshine!
Nice having more sunshine where you are. I am sure you will get comfortable with your new place in a few weeks.
