Comfy Spot


When I want a comfy spot to snooze in, mum often finds me on my little cat bed.  It has 2 quilts on it , a woolly blankie, a bath mat and is topped with a towel.  Just like the princess and the pea.  Don't worry- the heater on the wall doesn't work, so I won't get burnt.

One of our friends asked if it was smoke on yesterday's sky photos.   No smoke, just stormy clouds trying to take over.

    Poppy I think you are the luckiest puddy cat in the world. What a toastie bed you have there and you know it is all yours. Millie sleeps in front of a heater all day if it is cold outside but after tea is her favourite time.
    She always comes into my room and half sleeps on my hottie and half on my feet . She curls up like a little pancake and is half way between her dad and mum and she just loves the tv, the chat and laughter between mum and dad and the tv on and we only know she's awake when she has a quick lick of a paw. But when it comes to sleep time dad carries her out to the cosy cushion on the arm chair in front of the burner. She must be toastie as she usually needs waking for breakfast.
    But she doesn't have her own little bed like you.
    I saw a photo of you tonight. It was 31 Dec. 2007.. If anyone missed that go take a look. The cutest, funniest photo of Pops ever.

    What a comfy bed you have, Poppy. I'm glad the clouds were just clouds. Here in Canada, British Columbia is suffering from forest fires; I don't think I've heard of too many of those in New Zealand - but you have earthquakes, so you have your share of disasters.

    Stay warm and comfy Miss Poppy. I have my sleep places in the winter that are so nice and warm too. One of them is by the hot air blowy thing.

    We cats do have our beddie preferences don't we. Our mum found a 100% wool blanket a jumble sale for next to nothing. We all loved it so she cut it into squares and put the squares on top of our beds. Heaven!

    You do look very comfy in your bed, Poppy. So comfy that you make me want to go to bed, except that I know I won't sleep once I get there. I wish I could sleep like you.
