Today it was announced that he was giving a personal gift of $50 million dollars to the hospital to pay for a new children's hospital. What a difference that will make to the children and families in our city and region, providing them with safer and more comfortable facilities to rest and recuperate in.
How lucky we are to have such a generous gentleman living here, and his gift will be an amazing legacy for our city and country.

Wow, that's incredible! It's lovely to hear about people making a difference, whether it's someone with great wealth making a significant contribution or someone fostering a cat or dog, or volunteering at a soup kitchen, etc.

Poppy, dear, we have a similar story in our area. The old gentleman enjoyed sitting unrecognized on a bench, watching children play in a special playground he'd provided for them. He called their joy a blessing on him.
