I am still holding the fort at home. We are still in the midst of a storm here with high winds and rain for us, and lots of snow round the country. Nice and warm and cosy inside for us. Again I am waiting for mum, but it is the last shift of her week.
Oh! My Goodness! Poppy!x You are in the
ReplyDeletewars..weather wise..I'll sent you some
of our sunshine over to you! :).
But, l am pleased to see you've made the bed
up for you and Mum..and Mums last shift, hope
she can put her feet up now!
I'm just off down town for coffee and cake! :).
Your human has been working way hard, Poppy - I'm sure she'll be glad when she gets time off! Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteOh boy it is cold up here. Hope you girls snuggle up and keep dry and warm
ReplyDeleteWhat a good girl you are poppy. It must be a joy for mum to look forward to coming home to you. What fun you will have tomorrow, sleeping in nice and cosy then eating feast. Millie is bored with the weather and because after me petting her awhile I lifted my iPad. She lunged at my arm and bit me. She still has that wild streak from when she was dumped and on the run and I forgive her as it is that survival streak in her that kept her alive. Makes me sad for her but I bet you would never bite mum. At least she doesn't scratch. But like mum still loves and remembers Missy, I have a little holebin my heart for darling Sid. Sleep well while the wind blows. Xxx.
ReplyDeletePoppy, dear, we're having a monsoon season here in the American Midwest. The neighbor's barn cats come by for snacks between the storms, so I've set up a little shelter for their buffet which they seem to appreciate. The raccoons and possums don't mind the weather, neither does the giant groundhog that's excavating my other neighbor's lawn (the neighbor who doesn't feed cats and then wonders why he hosts all the moles and critters).
ReplyDeleteIt's a good time to be indoors, eh, Poppy. I'm glad your mum will be done with work this week soon. I'll bet she's glad, too.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are inside and safe, thank goodness your mum has the weekend off.
ReplyDeleteWe're sending our purrs that the storm passes soon. Stay safe and warm Poppy and mum.
