Seven

Mum has managed only seven hours sleep over the past two nights.  Both days she has started work at 7am and the thought of sleeping in keeps her awake.  The changing start and finish times of mums work make a routine almost impossible.   That's why tonight it's 11.45pm and mum is still up and doing the dishes while I've been in bed since 5pm.

  1. Oh, gosh, Poppy, we're sorry your mum's so sleep deprived. :-(

We sure hope she'll get a break soon and be able to catch some Zzzzs. Purrs to her, and to you too.

  2. Working shifts is very hard. Make sure to give Mum extra cuddles and have a sweet night.

  3. My mum doesn't know how your mum can survive on such a crazy schedule. Mum would be brain dead and kill somebody.

  6. That really is cruel. If they work her that hard she will get sick and have to take days off. They need to be told. Is it the Covid that is causing a shortage of staff. Give her my love poppy and tell her she takes lovely flower photos. I have several blossom trees down the back. I will get my helper to take some pics to see if they are flowering. The weather is so cold I doubt it. 🥰
