Mums sleeping has been weird, after her nightshifts, but she has been giving into it and going back to sleep when she needs it. Today she feels better, and will hopefully manage to sleep tonight and be more productive tomorrow.
I have been busy supervising her rest and regulating the meal breaks.
You have a full-time job there Poppy, trying to help your mum with her sleep. Believe me I understand her ups and downs because even as a retired person I still do not sleep well. You helped her catch up on some rest.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad your mum is letting her body rest when it needs it. There will always be "stuff" to do; taking care of oneself and of you is more important, Poppy! ♥
ReplyDeleteHey, even my mum who is retired sometimes goes back for more sleep or takes a nap in the afternoon.
ReplyDeletegotta keep mum on her toez poppy !!! ;) ♥♥
ReplyDeleteI wish society allowed us to sleep when we needed it, rather than when we had time for it. I think the world would improve. And we'd stay out of trouble by sleeping through it...
ReplyDeleteLots of love to you and Mum with snuggles and sweet dreams.
