Wonky
Mum ordered herself a Wonky Box last week which arrived on Thursday. It delivers for her every 3 weeks a box with 7 varieties of vegetables and 3 fruits. She got some potatoes, 5 onions, 1 large zuccini, a bunch of carrots, 1 Romaine lettuce, 1 Sweetcorn, a cucumber, 5 feijoas, 6 apples and 6 mandarins. All things she will eat and all fresh from local suppliers, and good value for money. Mum also likes that it is delivered to her door ready to be eaten.

That box is a terrific idea, plus it's great to support local producers. I've never heard of feijoas, I had to Google. Your mum is all set with her fresh produce, Poppy. I hope she's all set with your treats and Fancy Feast too! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea. I have a fruit and veg box delivered every week and everything is grown locally. I wouldn't mind at all if they put wonky produce in, but I get it as it comes. Of course it isn't perfect like supermarket produce but is better quality and fresher.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! Here we have a company called Miss Fits and sends great produce that may not be supermarket perfect but perfect for eating.
ReplyDeleteThose fresh fruits and veggies look delicious, Poppy. What a great way to help out local growers, too!
