Last Day of Winter

Today is the last day of winter!!!  Yippeee!!  The sun is out and mum has got some jobs done and had a walk in the sunshine.  We are sooo looking forward to some warmth and sitting outside in the garden after months cooped up inside.

    Aww, we're headed into fall and right now we've got the remnants of Hurricane Isaac! We are always reminded of the difference of our seasons when we read your blog and it amazes us. Happy spring, Poppy!

    And I am looking forward to cooler temperatures! It's been miserable degrees hot here since about late March and I'm SO ready for a change!

    Now, now, don't rush things. The seasons don't end with the months, even in New Zealand. Besides, if they did, we'd be looking at the end of summer in Canada. Actually, that's not too bad because in my part of the country it's been very hot and muggy. I'm looking forward to the autumn. So, maybe... Yes, yes, it's the last day of summer!
