Movie Night

Last night as mum was heading to bed, I upped her heart rate by bringing a very noisy cicada into the house, so that she had to chase it round to get it outside.  She would not have been able to sleep if it got lost under the furniture.  Luckily for her she found it and rehomed it in the neighbours garden.

To calm her down to help her sleep she looked for a soothing video to help her sleep and found this one of this man playing Bach to Lam Duan a blind elephant at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand.  It even brought a tear to mums eye watching the elephant dance.

  1. That was a lovely video and the elephant was really enjoying the piano playing.
I have never seen a cicada but have heard them when we have been on holiday. Once when we were on holiday in Spain they were in the tree outside our bedroom window and the noise was deafening. It was a good job they had air conditioning because it would have been impossible to sleep with the window open.
