Stealer


 Mum was reading on the bed and got up to visit the bathroom, so it was my chance to steal her spot.  She doesn't mind - she went and watched the news.  Not very cheery tonight - Covid, fires and other depressing stuff.  Mum misses the Olympics.

    You were just keeping your mum's spot warm for her, Poppy, right? :-)

    The biped misses the Olympics too, for something to watch that isn't all about death and destruction. On the "up" side, on November 1st one of TV channels here will start airing all the schmaltzy, feel-good Christmas movies 24/7 until the end of December. LOL.
