So tonight it's raining, freezing and stormy outside with winds howling and it feels like the power might flicker and die. Mum can't figure out if weather has always been like this, or does every bad bout of weather seem like a storm? So we're off to snuggle in our warm bed. Mum has the torch out and the phone fully charged just in case.

I hope the storm remains outside, Poppy, and doesn't impolitely intrude in the house's power. It's good that your mum is prepared, just in case.
