Mum was aiming for a sleep in but woke up at 7am with a tidy 4 hours of sleep. She didn't get too many jobs done, but she did drag herself out for a walk around the waterfront and dud some window shopping. She came home and made a chicken pad Thai noodles for her dinner.
The skies were a pretty pink tonight, but the forecast seems to be heavy rain tomorrow. Mum is hoping there will be a break in the rain to go to the post office and library but we'll see.
Such a lovely photo. . We wii all need to take Vit. D tables if this weather keeps up. I don’t suppose you mind poppy as long as you’ve got your plastic bag and temptations. ❤️🌈 ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and I hope she is able to go out a bit and that you both have a great day.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like my night, Poppy. I hope the pretty sky augurs well for your mum's sleep tonight.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to thank your mum, too, Poppy, for her kindness in offering sympathy and comforting words upon the death of my friend, Tucker. It's a tough thing to lose such a friend, but it is eased a little every time someone is thoughtful, the way your mum was. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous sunset!
