These flowers made mum smile on the way to work this morning. Good company and a busy shift made the work day speed by. Now she is off to buy more groceries and come home to me - the best part of her day.
Pink roses are so much more lovely than white snow and cloudy days. Thank you Mum are letting us see them. I bet those Roses enjoyed that torrential rain the other day.
There’s nothing like a lovely smile rose or Poppy to make you smile. I’m watching Christmas with Bob on Netflix. How I wish I had a cat. Dear Bob passed a long time ago. It brings back memories of my cat that I got at 4 weeks. I had to hand rear her but she went everywhere with me in my car. She would hop in and lie on my shoulders to the supermarket and then hop into the back window until I got back. Going to my mums she would be out before me and down the back garden. A quick whistle and she was back in the car on my shoulders to go home. She suffered dreadfully from morning sickness so never let any doctor like mine at those times say it was all in the mind. She would ly on our swingseat and bring up froth. How I wished I’d kept at least of one of her kittens. I so miss having a cat. Thank you PoppyQ for being there. Wish I could have some of your rain.
They look lovely. I have those roses in my garden too and they keep flowering through the winter. A couple of weeks ago Ivor cut my clematis down for the winter. When he came in he said he had pruned those roses back as well. He thought he was being helpful but they were still flowering and covered in new buds. I thanked him through gritted teeth! I have put a photo of Eric and dad on the tractor for Friday's random photo for you.
The flowers are lovely, Poppy. We're glad your mum had a good work day...and that she has you to come home to! ♥
