So mum went to bed last night and had that familiar chesty feeling that she was getting sick. She didn't feel too bad getting up, but by the time she had a shower and got into work she had a headache and a sore chest. So as soon as she could she headed home via the after hours doctor to have a covid test - then home to bed. She's pretty sure it's just a cold, and yes she is double vaxxed and boosted.
She bought one of these pulse oximeters off the internet a few weeks ago, which was cheap and is handy. Don't worry - her sats are fine. No temperature, just a cough and sore chest So mum has to isolate at home until results are back. So no New Years Eve parties for her.

ReplyDeleteI hope your human is feeling better. My human has one of those pulse oximeters too - the second she is feeling off, she uses it and takes her temperature... and it is always normal.
