The passionfruit are popping out on the vines all green and large. Such a tasty treat when they are ready. Easy to grow, mum only waters the vines every couple of days during the summer and cts back the vines in winter.
I’ve not had luck with passion fruit vines. They keep getting cut by whoever is mowing and whipper snipping the edges. Very frustrating. But I might give them another go and plant them near their own arch
It looks nice on the vine! I must admit I've never tasted this fruit. I'm not even sure it grows in my area.
ReplyDeleteThat's so neat, Poppy! Do they just grow wild?
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I've ever had passion-fruit. I should try to find one some time, to discover their taste.

ReplyDeleteMy human has considered growing these... even though she kills everything! We have a pretty mild climate here, so she might be able to do it.
ReplyDeleteWe grow passionfruit here mostly as a garden Beauty rather than food. I did love seeing the bright green on my dreary day yesterday.
