The news tells us that things are cooling down in the northern hemisphere, with lots of snow creeping in. Here in NZ, we're inching into summer with the hottest day of the year forecast tomorrow. So enjoy our sunny pictures from this afternoon.
Mum was lazy and tired today after her busy weekend, so she is making a list of jobs for tomorrow. Me - well I enjoyed a bit of sun, but lots of sleeping.
Poppy Precious and I especially like seeing you in the bright Sunshine with green grass and green trees. The sunshine is what we miss most here as we have very little for weeks on end during the winter. But no snow here right now and that's okay.
ReplyDeleteThe sun looks lovely. The temperature was -9 this morning when I got up. That is much lower than normal but it seems we will have to get used to these extremes of temperatures.
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine summertime heat right now. We haven't even begun winter yet, so spring is more than three months away!
ReplyDeleteHere in Australia it’s like we are two different countries. The top half are having very hot days 40+ and here in the south we are experiencing very cold, wet weather. And we even have snow on nearby mountains. And there’re not even that high.
ReplyDeleteI think we are all exhausted this time of year. Rest as often as you need
Sleep is good. I'm glad your Mim had a lazy day.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that sunny warm weather! Not too long from now the Solstice will be here and we start swinging back the other way.
