Hello December

Today mum woke up early, but went back to bed to read her book as it was a bit wild and windy here today.  She is still enjoying her banana muffins for breakfast, and then she popped off to the local market to stock up. leaving the washing machine and dishwasher humming.

Today she bought dill, courgettes, cabbage, broccoli, tomatoes, cucumber, lemons, green beans, kiwifruit, pineapple and strawberries.  She visited the fishmonger and bought fresh Teraki and Salmon to have for her dinner - and no I'm not interested in any fish.

I helped mum with some more weeding, after that we needed a wee nap before she popped out again.  So after a big dinner with five servings of fruit and veg & fish for tea, mum is going to watch the Antiques roadshow on the tv.  She needs an early night, as it will be an early start on Sunday.

We welcome December, and hope it brings us some more warmth and sunshines.

  2. Hello, gorgeous girl!

I welcome December because I love the Christmas season and everything wonderful that comes with it! Music, enjoying a fire in the fireplace, wine chats with SisterDears, food and the kids being so excited!

Unfortunately, that means cold weather for us but I don't mind too much, especially since me and my parents are flying home for Christmas with the family. That only happens once every 5 years or so.

    Enjoy your day, ladies!
