I sent the mumster off to work again at 6:40 this morning, she does admit to being a touch tired. She had a good day at work, nice company and not too frantic, and before you know it she was home again. We got a touch of garden time which was nice but by 5pm mum was flagging, so she and I took a nap. She only meant to close her eyes for a half hour, but of course she woke at 7.15pm just in time to cook her dinner and get the can of feast open.
Ohhh and she took an hour or so to water the garden. Then she saw the weather report for the week, and found that we are due for rain again for a few days. Oh well. In fact we shouldn't complain about all the rain we have been having, as lots of places in Australia are crying out for rain at the moment as they are having lots of bushfires.
Hope you all got to take it easy this Sunday.

ReplyDeleteHail is forecast tomorrow! Not looking to bright until Wednesday! :(
Just been watching the fires on the telly, in Australia...What a terrible..terrible thing to happen!
All those poor people!
And we could use some rain too over here in southern California - I think we have been in a drought my whole lifetime!
ReplyDeleteNaps are nice. I accidentally had one yesterday as well. And a touch of rain fell. And my gray babies had their feast! Our sides of the universe were at least slightly in sync yesterday!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day, lovely ladies!
Hurrah for naps, we certainly love them--so does our human, when she gets a chance to have one. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe're wishing your mum a calm work week ahead!
We saw the fires in Australia on the news. We are glad they are not near you.
ReplyDeleteWe really likes naps! Especially when the mom takes one too, MOL
ReplyDeleteHave a great rest of the day Poppy! (and mum)
Sasha, Sami, & Saku
Nothing wrong with an impromptu nap.
ReplyDeleteMum has been all tired this weekend too being all tired after her charity event on Friday. She didn't get to sleep in on Caturday because the destruction guys showed up early.
ReplyDeleteOh Poppy, can we come and give you a big pat? Such a floofy girl you are! meow, Jessica the cat.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovey Sunday. Yes nsw needs rain and cooler temps. Here in southern Victoria we are not doing too badly. Unfortunately when the summer really kicks off we will have lots of fuel due to that rain, so hopefully we wont get bush fires this season.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy da quiet rainy days fur now. Think happy thots an da sunny days will be there right away! Purrs.
