Summer Bed and Meatballs

Today the sun was shining and hinting at long summer days.  So mum put the washing out and let me have my summer bed outside.   Lucky me!!!

Mum went out for a little walk and went and saw Rogue One at the movies which was OK and at the end made sense.  She was at the cinema with an all male IT depth, 6 tourists in need of deodorant, four teenagers who smoked too much weed before the show and two loud giggly transsexuals.   You see our cities multiplexes have been closed since the big earthquakes.   So all the young people are invading the old people cinema.  Can't wait for them to be fixed.

So when mum came home I was outside in the bed.  I came in for my feast and are back outside on the deck.  Mum had some tasty meatballs with salsa and yoghurt.  She bought ready made balls cos last time it cost mum 4x the price and four hours to make.

  4. Ah, sleeping away the summer day - or night - outside, eh, Poppy? Very nice. And I detest going to cinemas now. It used to be a fun event, now it is a mere annoyance. My cinema is at home, in my library - and it allows cats.

  5. My mum and dad haven't been to the cinema for a long time. They say there is too much talking and various noises, and they always seemed to get the people in front of them who had to keep moving around so they were always trying to peer around them.

  6. Mum was going to go to the pictures today and forgot. She wants to see Fantastic Beasts. Won't try to go until after the first of the year. Once the kiddies are back in school.
