Mum spent the day home sick, she felt all stuffed up and tired due to the lurgy she has come down with, she hopes this one doesn't turn into a nasty chest infection and cough. Luckily I am an experienced nurse and took it easy with her. She got some groceries delivered, so it was soup and toast for lunch and some fruit in the evening, with lots of water and apple juice all day. She is going to have a cold pill before bed to help her sleep, as she tossed and turned all of last night. So I'm tired too.
Mum likes the council planted some olive trees in the street by our house, although it may have been better to use native plants, we think that each household was given a vote as to what trees they wanted in their street. Mum does not like olives at all, so she doesn't pick them although plenty of the locals do.
So mum and I are off to bed to get some rest and zzzzs.
