This is the gap between our house and next door and is the steps down to our small place and our back garden.

    What a great image, Poppy, and yes, I can see you way back there. It reminds me of two-storey houses when I was a boy, from which you could lean and shake hands with the people in the neighbouring house’s upper floor.
