Still wet and cool here, with our rainstorm still keeping us wet, with rain nonstop 3 days in a row. Its good for our parched garden, but mum has had to put the heaters on tonight. She has one more nightshift to go and then lovely days off with no plans. This afternoon she has been watching the Revenant, and feeling not so could. Looking at all the frozen wilderness on screen makes her grateful for the mild climate we live in, and also for a warm shower, clean clothes, a soft bed and a warm dinner.

We had lots of rain but didn’t need to resort to heating
ReplyDeleteIn just hope this summer doesn’t drag on and winter arrives. At least then we would know what to expect
I saw the Revenant a while ago. Yes, it's a good movie to watch while warm and snug.
ReplyDeleteWow, that doesn't sound summer-ish at all, Poppy. You and Mum stay warm and dry, okay?
ReplyDelete56 degrees and cloudy here with rain on and off. The feline is grumpy and the human is under a blanket. I hope you and Mum enjoy her days off.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you? That sounds horrendous. We are in New Zealand ❤️
DeleteFlorida USA and I wish I was in New Zealand.
DeleteSo sorry missed some of your blogs. Been unwell. Not much rain where I am thank goodness. Bless the West Coast. Bless you and mum xxx
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's good to have a warm home!
ReplyDeleteFine summer you're having, Poppy!
