The sun is moving now, sending us signs that the seasons are changing which is sad for us and good for our northern friends. Its getting cooler at night but the days are mostly lovely and we are enjoying them while we can.
Oh Poppy, we had some sunshine and a little bit of a winter fall yesterday. It was so wonderful and it melted a lot of the ice pack. Now this morning it's pouring down rain, and then we'll have freezing rain and then sleep and then snow. It's been the same way every week for about six weeks. But I know what you mean about the Sunshine moving. Because my mornings are getting brighter much sooner.
We certainly understand why you're sad about the changing seasons, Poppy. For us, spring can't come soon enough, though it's nowhere on the horizon. We're so sick of snow and ice and freezing rain and endless minus double-digit windchills!

I hope when the seasons change it will send all these horrible storms and heavy rain away.

ReplyDeleteEnjoy those rays Poppy...Lukas is stuck to his favorite chair and gazing out at crows today. Best to you and Mum.
ReplyDeleteYou sure have had lots of cool, rainy days, Poppy. We hope you and Mum get some nice sun as the summer winds down.
ReplyDeleteWe noticed the sun's movement here, too. My new cat, Minuet, found the sun to warm her old furs.
