Mum managed a sleep in this morning - me too. Washing was done and she thought she should head out. She lugged a big bag of library books to the bus stop, only to find she had picked up her work id and swipe cards instead of her bus pass, library card and cash card. So she had to treck back home to retrieve her cards. Although she was tempted to sit back down on the couch, the afternoon was warm and sunny, so she headed back out.
Mum returned books, and got some more groceries. She got home in time to sit in the sun and read her book. Then she turned up some music and cooked some Thai green curry chicken and rice for dinner. A drink was needed to watch the news tonight too and now as the evening cools she is watching the first episode of Yellowstone, which has just started on free TV here.
Me well I've moved away from the spare roim, and back into the mum bedroim reclaiming my heated bed.
