Wake me up in October!!

Worker

Mum had to work today.  She thinks it was a bad choice to pick up a shift on the morning that daylight savings went forward, as she got very little sleep.  The good thing is that it will help her get into a rhythm while she adjusts and she doesn't have to go to work on Monday.

Chilling With Cheddar Caturday

Oh man - mum found this instagram kitty Cheddar last night and can't stop checking out the website.  First off she can't even think how they got their kitty to pose like that, and mum is jealous she didn't think of it first.  Colour me jealous.

Jungling

Jungling season has begun.  I like to sit in the garden and watch the going on in the neighbourhood.

Neighbour Cat

Mum was hanging out the washing this morning being watched by neighbour cat.  We don't know his/her name or even which house they live in.  We don't mind them being in the garden but we have caught them sneaking into our house.

Night Time Rituals

8.30pm-10pm beg mum to come to bed.
10.05-10.15 lay down on her leg to get a cuddle.
10.15-10.20 act annoyed and jump off bed.  Eat biscuits.
10.20-10.45 scratch to get under the quilt and spend 15 minutes fussing to get comfortable.
10.47 Too hot.  Get off mum's bed.  Eat biscuits.
10.50 Now I tunnel in under the quilts from the side of the bed.   Howl for mum for 10 minutes cos I am lost.

11.00 You touched me.  Annoyed.  Jump off bed.  Eat biscuits.

Sleep alone in my heated cat bed.

And mum complains that she's tired!!!!🐱

Forgot

I gave mum a good talking to when she got home, as she had forgotten to put my bag back on the bed after she had made the bed last night.  I proceeded to roll around on it and ask to be brushed.

It has turned stormy this afternoon, of course on the day when mum forgot to take her jacket to work.  She got in with a pile of groceries before the rain started though, even though she had the slowest bus driver in the city drive her home.  Leftovers for her dinner and a feast for me.  She is now smelling the house out by boiling eggs to make for sandwiches for lunch tomorrow.  Egg farts in bed - I am so looking forward to it.

Mumster Present Ideas

 With only 3 months until Christmas is upon us again, I thought I would get some shopping ideas in for my mumster.  She likes a good tshirt and or sweatshirt, and I found these ones for her on ETSY.  This first grey beauty is from YourWishCo.  Looks like it shows a typical day of your active cat.

You can't beat a Crazy Cat Lady tee from Dogs and Unicorns.  Cos really that is who she is deep down.

Caturday

Every time mum went in to take the bedding off the bed to wash it she found me here.  So the sheets will have to be washed on Sunday instead. 

Tonight is mum on the couch watching rugby with some soup and toast for her dinner.  The rugby world cup matches have started in Japan.  Our team are playing South Africa tonight.

Lucky

I am a lucky girl being able to roll around in the garden by myself on a spring day. 

Vitamins

We are glad that we are getting some vitamin D again.  It is still frosty overnight and cool in the evenings, but between 10am-4pm it is just lovely.  Mums sleeping has been terrible this week.  Between shift work, on call and a stormy windy night in combination with middle age has been a shocker for her.  She has fingers crossed tonight that she gets a good 7 hours or so.  I'm going to jump on her and help her snuggle down.

Quick

I was quick this morning and got onto the quilt on mum's side before she had a chance to finish making the bed.  She didn't mind - my comfort comes first. 

Archives

Today mum has been looking through the archives saving some old pictures like this one of me with my teddy bear.  She still has the bear, although I have no interest in it now.

Rays

The weather forecast says it has meant to rain the past few days but we are lucky and have had lots of sun shines.  I am trying to get my vitamin D.  In reality it is now often warmer outside the house than inside.
