Happy to See You

Mum says this is a look of happiness, with my tail straight up (almost), and me rubbing.  Much as I like her, I still don't get too close outside.

  3. Of course you don't get near your human when you are out, Poppy - all kitties are just a little bit wild when they are outside!

  4. When you are outside you must be just a bit aloof... It's a cat thang! Momma's understand these things.

Have a lovely day, lovely ladies!

  5. That IS a happy look, Poppy. We like our cuddles outside too, but more often than not we're watching for moths or birds or squirrels, or snoozing in a chair. So it's perfectly fine to be a bit aloof -- you're on patrol and can't get too distracted!

  6. There's outside closeness and inside closeness. I'm sure your mum understands, Poppy.

  11. Outside is your space Poppy. Don't want mum getting in the way. But your mum knows you love her.

  12. Angel does not want to be close to Mom or Dad outside, either.

  13. When we kitties go outside, even on our screened porch, little switches in our heads flip and we become great jungle beasts again. It's just the way we're hardwired.
