Sunshines

So today was lots of sunshines and in fact mum felt coming home in her jacket, it may though have been all the groceries she was carting home.  Instead of spending $12  on a burger meal, she thought she should save money and instead spent $60 at the supermarket.  A bit dish of nacho chips with mince and veg for dinner was made and now there is food in the fridge, which was looking rather empty.

She is glad I got out in the sun and soaked up some rays today as the forecast is rather gloomy for the weekend.  So mum intends to get up earliesh on Caturday and get jobs done before the weather turns bad in the afternoon.

Last night she managed the four hour sleep after drifting off about 2.30am and then getting up to her alarm at 06:30am.  She was surprisingly good at work all day, and wished she could cope on that amount of sleep every night, as imagine how much blogging, reading and tv watching she could get done instead of having to get 8 hours or so every night.

So cats and kiddies time to get your rest in readiness for Caturday.

  2. I would love to be able to do without sleep, Poppy. I enjoy it, but you're quite right: what a lot more we could do in the time we allot to it - or allot to trying to get it.

  3. Four hours of sleep?! But sleep is awesome! Even though I am a kitten, I get lots between craziness. I just don't get humans and their desire to sleep less!

  6. Poppy, dear, that's a very nice sunbathing bench you have to enjoy! Stretching is very helpful when one is trying to sleep, isn't it. When I'm afflicted with wakefulness, I begin with my toes, then my ankles, and my calves, then...zzzzp

  8. I hope we have some sunshines today...Mum's promised that I can play Outside this weekend. Although she was kinda miffed that I woke her up at 4:20 this morning. I couldn't help it though, I was just too excited. Hope you have a lovely weekend and that your Mum stays rested up.
