After all our relaxicating over the past couple of days, mum is about to enter her busiest period before Christmas. A mixture of afternoon shifts and nightshifts means that she will have not enough sleep and not enough foods in the next seven days. Her appetite always disappears on night shift, but with the holidays coming up she knows that there will be plenty of calories to make up for it soon.
So I am in charge of the house and making sure the bed is nice and cosy for when she comes home. This time next week we will be able to wind down which is good.

Good luck to your momma dis week!
ReplyDeleteYou are very understanding Poppy. We know your mom appreciates all that you do around the house.
ReplyDeletePoppy, dear, please be sure to remind mum to take her vitamins and drink lots of extra water while she's under stress. And also remind her to fill your biscuit bowl before she goes to bed so you won't have to wake her up because you're starving...
ReplyDeleteHope your mum's work week goes by quickly and uneventfully.
