Tuesday

We would have liked to welcome December in by showing off our lovely summer weather, but there has been a chill in the air and the last two nights we have had to switch the heaters on.  We feel bad for complaining, as we know nothing of snow and big storms, but we have been chilly for months and we long to have a long stretch of the hots.

We had a quiet evening.  I ate my dinner and headed off for bed by 6pm.  Mum did some washing of the towels, and some washing of the dishes.  She watched a bit of television but is trying to head to bed early as she has a mountain of good books to devour.

    The heat will come, sweetheart. The weather is a bit "off" world wide.
    Your mum's use of gray decor is very appealing to our mum. She calls it Poppy gray.
