Friday Night Picnic
Mum did some chores tonight, the dishes, a bit of tidying up and put the crumbs out in the garden for the birds or so she thought. She had been surprised that all the bed she put out during the week was gobbled up real quickly. Now she knows why. Little hedgehoggies are having a picnic. So mum added some cherry tomatoes and chopped apricot for a sweet treat.
She also googled what to feed hedgehogs and found out it is not bread, but dry cat biscuits. Oooops.
Hope you all have a nice weekend planned. The mumster has to work, so we apologise in advance if we don't find time to post. Have some fun!!

Poppy, dear, we don't have these funny little tubbies here in the States. Are they biters, like shrews? Or uhggy to eat, like moles? My cats want to know!
ReplyDeleteI don't think the bread will hurt them, will it? My Tucker likes grapes, but they are apparently bad for cats. I would give him tiny bits without the skin. They didn't do him harm, but now I know they may. Sorry, Tucker. Maybe the hedgehogs would like grapes...
ReplyDeleteInteresting little creatures! You would think they would know better than to eat something that isn't good for them. Or maybe they are like people in that respect.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Poppy and Mum. Hope the work goes easy!
growing up our backyard visitors always got bread and milk too. Our hens line up for any cat biscuits that the farm stay guests didn't eat
