Mum was thinking about going out today as the sun was shining, however she decided that tomorrow would be her day out in town. So she slowed down and spent the day with me. She washed the towels, did the dishes, and did a few more chores. A home day is always a bonus.
Mum made herself some lemon garlicky pasta for dinner. She dished out some feast for me and some treats later on. How lucky am I?

ReplyDeleteIt's Fathers day over here..quiet one
for me, had a nice card from my daughter,
will see them next month..just had roast
bunny rabbit for lunch, potatoes, greens,
parsnips, mushrooms and corn on the cob..!
And! I opened a bottle of vino..Hic! HeHe!
Settled down now and watching 'Monsters: When
Moms Go Bad'..I'm finding it quite funny, goodness!
some of the things Moms get up to, to make sure
their daughters succeed...even murder..yes..murder!
As they say...'Only In America'...! :).
I hope the sun shines for your mum tomorrow, too.
ReplyDeleteYou are a lucky cat. Mum prefers to go out on a weekday to shop. Usually less people, but now with school out here it means more kids.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day you and Mum had together, Poppy!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great meal! Your human's wasn't bad either... but then I'd eat human food, if I were offered.
ReplyDeleteThe older I get. The more I appreciate being at home
ReplyDeleteAnd I love it in my younger days as well lol
